Join us on a tour through Rokua National Park, where snowshoeing, the unique beauty of nature, fascinating stories, and relaxing moments in a magical winter landscape come together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the start, we will fit your snowshoes and give a brief introduction on how to use them. Then, we will begin our tour to the most significant landmarks of the national park: Syvyydenkaivo, Finland\u2019s deepest kettle hole, and Pookivaara, the highest point in the park, are waiting for you!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Along the way, your private guide will share exciting information about the national park, the Rokua Geopark, and how the last Ice Age shaped this unique landscape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the highest point of the tour, Pookivaara, a cozy hut awaits you, where you can warm up with a hot drink and hear stories by the campfire about the past, the region\u2019s residents, and its visitors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On the way back, you\u2019ll learn even more about the diverse nature, trees, plants, and wildlife of this unique national park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The tour covers a total of about 6 km and lasts 3 to 4 hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
