This guided tour takes you to one of the most beautiful places in Liminka, to the Botanical garden of Alakestil\u00e4 at the banks of the Liminka river.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the walk, you’ll get to know the history of the park, its buildings and founder, the ‘tree crazy’ municipal councilor Kalle Arvola. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As you walk along the park’s paths, bridges and islands, you can trace its creation and become acquainted with the amazingly rich collection of domestic and exotic trees and plants. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stories about the different species of trees bring their secret lives to light. You even have the chance to hug a king!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
