Step back in time and discover the rich diversity of Liminka – from nature to over 540 years of fascinating history – all from the saddle of your bike!

Led by a certified local guide, this engaging 4-hour cycling tour takes you through Liminka’s most scenic and historically significant spots.

Starting in the modern center, you’ll pass the charming village church and follow the peaceful Liminganjoki River into the historic heart of the region. Your guide brings the past to life with captivating stories, local legends, and insights into traditional farmhouses, the grand old vicarage, and authentic museums showcasing Liminka’s unique heritage.

The journey continues along gravel roads through light pine forests to one of the area’s top sights: the renowned Liminka Bay Nature Centre. Explore a fascinating exhibition about migratory birds and climb the birdwatching tower for stunning views over the untouched bay.

Feeling peckish? Your guide will have a small snack for you, but you can also enjoy a coffee break at the seasonal on-site café (not included in the tour price).

The tour ends with a relaxed ride on paved cycle paths back to the center – leaving you refreshed and inspired by Liminka’s charm.

Want to add a little something extra? Enhance your experience with a visit to the beautiful local arboretum, or take a refreshing dip in the nearby natural lake.
